I build backend services and the machine learning systems that run on them: data pipelines, retrieval, and the schemas holding it all up. Most of my work sits where a model has to survive contact with real users.

Backend & APIs
Services and APIs in Node, FastAPI and Go, and the relational schemas underneath them. Lately, pulling a legacy reporting backend into a hexagonal architecture.
Applied AI & ML
Fine-tuning and shipping LLM features, RAG pipelines, and models that need to hold up in production, not just a notebook.
Data pipelines
Web scraping, parsing, and preprocessing that turn messy sources into clean input for search and ML systems.
Frontend
React and Next.js for the interfaces on top, TypeScript throughout, with a bit of React Native for mobile.
Infra & DevOps
Docker, CI/CD, and AWS, enough to deploy it and not think about it again.
Testing & automation
Playwright end-to-end coverage and browser automation, so a deploy is a non-event rather than a thing to watch.
